My girlfriend bought a Droid Eris a few days ago, and has cleaned up all her Google contacts to have phone numbers/email/etc for everyone she wants to have on the phone. However, every time we try and sync the phone to her Google account, we get a sync error. Both T-Mobile HD2 and HTC HD2 hava 576 MB physical RAM but HTC HD2 was reduced by software to 512 MB only. On the "data synchronization" section of the setting menu, I get this contacts error: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. Radio v2.07 and above can unlock it to use 576 MB.

Why do you need to install custom radio ROM that supports 576 MB NAND Android and Windows Phone 7 need it. You need to have correct radio ROM in order to use NAND Android and Windows Phone 7. This corrosponds with a sync notification error that "Delete limit exceeded." It then asks me if I want to delete, undo the deletes, or do nothing. I have no idea what any of this means, but every option I pick does nothing anyway. This leaves us with only a small subset of her contacts available on the phone. I've tried logging her gmail account out of the phone and setting up again but that makes no difference. I recently had the hard drive in my laptop replaced as the last one broke. Remember a Consumer Preview of both Windows 10 for desktop and Phone are just around the corner. My lord, when I pop open my HTC Titan to let the kids play some games, I am reminded of how jubilant we were to get some things! Wow! Different sized Tiles! Whouda thunk!?Ĭhill. And one that has been updated at least 4 times in the past 10 months. Got a battery Live tile now! Woo hoo! I ma honestly more interested in the changes under the hood and the preparations of what is coming next.
I was bored to tears with static, know nothing tiles. As slick as the flexible, bendable iPhone 6 looks and how many more features it has, I won't be going back anytime soon. I would venture a guess that almost all of us have had some experience, good or bad with Android or iOS. But frankly, with unlimited date an my phone I could just as easily be one of those saying "I don't care." Enough also with the "I wish I could stay with WP, but the phones that have a few additional features because they are a couple years ahead on the development curve are calling out to me." Fine. I do wish we had a definitive list of the changes or additions to this update. But enough of the name calling and childish, churlish comments. I'm concerned that Denim has not come to my very recent phone while others are shipping with it. Of course, that means millions of people who are sleeping very well tonight, oblivious to the strum and drang that is keeping you awake. And now, if you are complaining about this update, it means you, like me, are sporting the Developer Preview. My lord, we were all on 8.0 less than 12 months ago. Calling engineers and developers "nerds" and knocking the development cycle.
